Sterilisation pouches are available in various sizes and widths and are ready for immediate use. They are self-adhesive and have an open side for filling the pouches with the sterilised items. This side is closed with an adhesive strip after filling.
Sterilisation pouches are suitable for steam and/or ethylene oxide and consist of two layers. One layer consists of durable medical paper and tinted polyester/polypropylene plastic. In addition to its excellent sterilisation properties, the film is characterised by very good peelability. Three chemical indicators are labelled on the paper side: Steam, gas, chemical vapour, which provide an indication of successful sterilisation in the form of colour discolouration.
