Use process indicators type 5, DIN EN ISO 11140-1 to monitor your steriliser. With the SteamSensor 5, Stericop provides you with a suitable indicator that allows you to monitor your sterilisation cycle easily and safely. Our indicators are subject to DIN EN ISO 11140-1 and correspond to type 5.
The SteamSensor 5 changes colour in stages from light blue to violet to pink. The longer the indicators are exposed to the sterilisation conditions (sterilisation time, pressure and saturated steam conditions), the more they change colour to pink. This allows you to assess your sterilisation results very accurately.

Insert the SteamSensor into the sterilisation chamber for loading. Start the sterilisation cycle. At the end of the process, check the indicator for colour change. Colour chart on the inside of the packaging. After evaluation, document the result in the sterilisation log and discard the indicator strip.
