The orange STANDARD sanding caps are produced using a modern manufacturing process. A new phenol- and formaldehyde-free resin serves as an adhesive, is only applied very thinly and provides an extremely firm hold for the corundum abrasive particles. They lie very freely and are sharper and easier to grip than those of the previous brown abrasive caps.
The STANDARD abrasive cap combines effective, non-slip stock removal and sustainability. All round shapes and sizes are available in two grit sizes (medium and coarse). The pointed sanding cap is only available in the standard coarse grit.
The new STANDARD abrasive caps and the STANDARD carriers are medical products.The caps are used as a single-use product.
