Application areas: Concentrate for the disinfection and cleaning of surgical and rotary instruments. Spectrum of activity and contact times: bactericidal (incl. MRSA; EN 13727), levurocidal (EN 13624): 1 % - 30 min, 3 % - 15 min; tuberculocidal: (EN 14348) 2 % - 30 min, 3 % - 15 min; virucidal (HBV/HCV/HIV/Vaccinia/BVDV/HPV/Adeno/Polio/SV40/Rota/Noro, EN 14476): 3 % - 15 min; application in ultrasonic bath: 3 % - 5 min. Not protein-fixing.
Description of use: Remove any residues of other disinfectants from the instrument tray before first use. To prepare
a 1 % working solution, pour 990 ml of water into the tray, then mix with 10 ml of BAEHR Disinfectant Concentrate ULTRA
. With regard to the water quality, the guideline for the validation of manual cleaning and manual chemical disinfection of medical devices (Bundesgesundheitsblatt 10/2012) must be observed. Recommended water quality < 8.4° dH. Clean heavily soiled instruments first with lukewarm water and a soft brush. Place used instruments in the solution and put the lid on. Wet completely. Avoid the formation of bubbles. Observe the minimum exposure times. Then remove, rinse four times under clear, running water and dry with a clean cloth. Before use in the ultrasonic bath: Place the lid on the instrument tray. Only remove the lid after cleaning and cooling down. Renew used solution daily (RKI guidelines). Replace solution immediately if visibly soiled. Observe the instrument manufacturer's restrictions on use. Sterilisation according to RKI guidelines. Product cannot be used for nerve needles.

Safety precautions: Danger: N-(3-aminopropyl)-N-dodecylpropane-1,3-diamine, Quaternary ammonium compounds, Benzyl-C12-18-alkyldimethyl-, Chlorides; 2,2-Iminodiethylamine; Tridecylamine, branched and linear. Causes severe skin burns and eye damage. Very toxic to aquatic life with long lasting effects. May cause allergic skin reactions. Harmful if swallowed or inhaled. Avoid inhalation of dust/fume/gas/mist/vapour/aerosol. Wear protective gloves/protective clothing/goggles/face protection. Wash hands thoroughly after handling. Do not eat, drink or smoke during use. Avoid aerosol formation. IF IN CONTACT WITH SKIN (or hair): Remove all
soiled, soaked clothing immediately. Wash/shower skin with water. Wash contaminated clothing before reuse.

If inhaled: Remove to fresh air and keep at rest in a position comfortable for breathing. Store product only in original packaging and closed. Do not store together with acids.
