Spectrum of action/reaction times: Recommended use for instrument disinfection: bactericidal, levurocidal 1% - 60 min, 2% - 30 min, 3% - 15 min, limited virucidal: 1% - 30 min, 2% - 15 min, SV40/Papova/polyomaviruses 1.5% - 60 min.
Application: Prepare the working solution in the desired concentration with water (max. 40 °C). Prepare working solution by diluting with suitable water in accordance with national guidelines. Change the working solution if visibly contaminated, but at least every working day.
Disinfecting cleaning in an immersion bath: Place instruments** in the working solution, if necessary after prior rough cleaning, and clean mechanically where necessary. After the exposure time has elapsed, rinse the instruments thoroughly with water and continue reprocessing.
Suitable for use in an ultrasonic bath. (** including rotating instruments)
Disinfection using the immersion bath method: Place instruments in the working solution after prior cleaning. All surfaces and cavities must be completely wetted by the working solution. After the exposure time has elapsed, rinse the instruments thoroughly with suitable water, dry and continue reprocessing.
Instructions for use: When cleaning in an ultrasonic bath: Do not exceed the sonication time according to the manufacturer's instructions and do not exceed temperatures of 40 °C. For disinfecting cleaning in an ultrasonic bath, BAEHR disinfectant concentrate for instruments with 4 % was validated for 5 min in BAEHR Podosonic 4+. Not suitable for the final disinfection of semi-critical and critical medical devices.
Material compatibility: The use of BAEHR disinfectant concentrate for instruments is not recommended for the following materials: Brass, aluminium, polystyrene (PS), polysulfone (PSU), polyethylene terephthalate (PET), polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA), acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS), polycarbonate (PC).
Composition: 100 g solution contains: 2.5 g cocospropylenediamine-1,5-bis-guanidinium diacetate, 3.75 g N, N-didecyl-N-methyl-poly(oxyethyl)ammonium propionate.
